Young Adult Ministry (YAM)

Young Adult Ministry (YAM) Mission
Our mission is to provide a place for young adults to belong. Most adult programs are for "older adults" so Young Adult Ministry is a place for them to transition from high school to college and beyond. It is during these times that young adults are searching for a spiritual connection with God and a community to belong to, so YAM is there to provide support and help them meet their spiritual, social, and emotional needs. The ministry helps them continue to foster and nurture their faith through bible study, faith sharing, fellowship, retreats, social activities, and community service. Involved in several liturgical ministries, they serve as choir members, lectors, eucharistic ministers, and also serve as leaders in the Youth Ministry.

Meeting Information
This group meets every 1st and 3rd Thursday night from 7:00pm-9:00pm in Youth Room of the O'Neill Bilding. Every last Thursday each month is a social night where they meet with Young Adults from other parishes to take part in Theology on Tap - A Young Adult event where gatherings are held at a restaurant, and spiritual talks are given about the Catholic Faith.
