Society of St. Vincent de Paul

Upcoming Events:

We cordially invite you to participate in the 12th Annual St. Vincent de Paul for the Friends of the Poor Virtual 5K Walk/Run taking place from

Sept. 9 – Oct. 9.   Due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, this year’s walk will be a “virtual” walk.  Walkers are asked to complete 5K or 3.1-mile walk/run on their own anytime and anywhere.

What is a Virtual Event?

The biggest difference between a traditional and virtual walk is that in a virtual event, the walkers/runners participate from the safety of a location they choose. For example, a walker might choose to walk in their neighborhood, along a park, at the waterfront, in their backyard or even on their own treadmill.

Anyone who raises $50 will get a t-shirt. Register to walk here FOP Virtual Walk or email SvdpVallejo@gmail.com to get walk forms.  If you’re unable to walk, please support us by donating to SVdP.

This National event, held annually, is SVdP's largest fundraiser, and now more than ever, we’re relying on funds raised to provide our volunteers with the resources to help our needy brothers and sisters in Vallejo. Please help us help others!  If you have any questions, please call 707-553-9469 or email SVdPVallejo@gmail.com

All proceeds go to helping the needy with their PGE or water assistance or special projects such as gas for work, emergency food, and others.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the parish St. Vincent Ferrer continues the ministry of Jesus who came to bring the good news of salvation fo the world. Since 1855, this parish has been a light set on a hill in Vallejo. Through the life of this Catholic Parish, the sacraments are celebrated, believers profess their faith, faith is put into action; and a diversity of people in culture, language, origin, and age seek unity, which fosters peace.
