Society of St. Vincent de Paul
Upcoming Events:
We cordially invite you to participate in the 12th Annual St. Vincent de Paul for the Friends of the Poor Virtual 5K Walk/Run taking place from
Sept. 9 – Oct. 9. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, this year’s walk will be a “virtual” walk. Walkers are asked to complete 5K or 3.1-mile walk/run on their own anytime and anywhere.
What is a Virtual Event?
The biggest difference between a traditional and virtual walk is that in a virtual event, the walkers/runners participate from the safety of a location they choose. For example, a walker might choose to walk in their neighborhood, along a park, at the waterfront, in their backyard or even on their own treadmill.
Anyone who raises $50 will get a t-shirt. Register to walk here FOP Virtual Walk or email SvdpVallejo@gmail.com to get walk forms. If you’re unable to walk, please support us by donating to SVdP.
This National event, held annually, is SVdP's largest fundraiser, and now more than ever, we’re relying on funds raised to provide our volunteers with the resources to help our needy brothers and sisters in Vallejo. Please help us help others! If you have any questions, please call 707-553-9469 or email SVdPVallejo@gmail.com
All proceeds go to helping the needy with their PGE or water assistance or special projects such as gas for work, emergency food, and others.
