Saturday, July 29 – SVdP Annual Potluck & Farewell Party for Tiny Tosh. She was the 1st President of the SVdP Conference at St. Vincent Ferrer and would like to thank her for leadership, support and many hours spent helping the poor!
Saturday, September 23 – Friends of the Poor Walk at the Vallejo Waterfront next to the Front Room for 3 miles. Registration at 9:15-9:30, Walk at 9:30. The annual Friends of the Poor® Walk benefits the needy and those living in poverty who are served by the SVdP in Vallejo. The walk is also intended to raise awareness of people living in poverty and to get support for the needy. To get more information, call the office at (707) 553-9469. Please join us!
As always and have been for the last 9 years, the St. Vincent Ferrer Elementary School will be walking on Thursday, Sept. 21 from the school to the waterfront and back after a morning Prayer Service. School children, teachers and parents will be joining them. Please support the school FOP walk or the community walk on Sept. 23.
