Fr. Manny Rodriguez

Parochial Vicar

I grew up in Vallejo, CA: attended Dan Mini Elementary,  Solano Middle School and Vallejo High School.  I received my BA from California State University -Sacramento,  and entered St. Patrick’s Seminary and University in Menlo Park, CA, a year after graduating from Sacramento State. I graduated St. Patrick’s Seminary and University in May 2019, where I earned a Master in Divinity, and a Master of Arts (Theology) degree.

I have four siblings, and I find myself being the second eldest amongst my siblings. At times, my mother refers to my dog as my sister, so that would bring the sibling tally to five.

I am looking forward to serving the St. Vincent Ferrer Community, as I received my First Communion and Confirmation at St. Vincent’s. Although, I received two of my sacraments here, my home parish is St. Basil the Great in Vallejo;  I grew up attending Mass and belonged to the youth group at St. Basil for over a decade.  My involvement in the liturgy and the youth group was very fruitful and enriching; I encourage all the youth at St. Vincent’s, with the permission and support of their parents, to take roles in the liturgy and to join or at least check out the youth group here at St. Vincent’s.
