CCC 1213 Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit and the door which gives access to the other Sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons and daughters of God; we become members of Christ, and are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission. "Baptism is the Sacrament of regeneration through water and the word." Titus 3:5
If you are interested in having your child baptized at St. Vincent Ferrer, please call (707) 644-8396 or (707) 644-8795.
The parents of the child must be registered, practicing parishioners for at least 3 months before beginning the baptism process. Pre-registration is required and both parents and godparents must attend a two-week preparation session. Baptisms take place on the 3rd Sunday of each month during the 2:00 PM mass.
