Young Adult Ministry (YAM)
Our mission is to provide a place for young adults to belong. Most adult programs are for "older adults" so Young Adult Ministry is a place for them to transition from high school to college and beyond. It is during these times that young adults are searching for a spiritual connection with God and a community to belong to, so YAM is there to provide support and help them meet their spiritual, social, and emotional needs. The ministry helps them continue to foster and nurture their faith through bible study, faith sharing, fellowship, retreats, social activities, and community service. Involved in several liturgical ministries, they serve as choir members, lectors, eucharistic ministers, and also serve as leaders in the Youth Ministry.
Meeting Information
This group meets every Tuesday night from 7:00pm-9:00pm in Room 210 of the O'Neill Bilding. Every fourth Tuesday of the month is a social night where they might meet at a pizza joint, Starbuck's or enjoy other outdoor activities.
